IT’S OFFICIAL—OJMCHE HAS A NEW HOME!

On Friday, August 25th Board Chair Elaine Coughlin signed documents that officially closed the sale of 724 NW Davis to OJMCHE. Now that the museum has the keys, work is beginning in earnest on the re-imagining of the space, with the help of Deca Architects. The main addition to thenew museum will be a ground floor café and restroom with the footprint of the rest of the gallery spaces remaining as is. Staff will begin overseeing the move of OJMCHE’s collections and archives at the end of September and the offices will be completely moved by November 1. Plans are coming together for our 2017 exhibitions schedule—stay tuned for news of OJMCHE’s June Grand Opening.
