While OJMCHE holds the largest collection of Jewish artifacts in the Pacific Northwest, only a small portion is on display. Join us for a rare opportunity to learn about some of the more unusual pieces. Archivist Alisha Babbstein and Curator Anne LeVant Prahl are selecting some of their personal favorites with stories and background to share. Have you ever wondered if your family heirloom should be part of OJMCHE’s collections and archives? There will be time at the end of the program to ask questions and find out more about how the museum collects to tell the story of Jews in Oregon. The collection documents Jewish life in Oregon through both everyday and ceremonial objects. Register for the event here.
