Using primary sources is an excellent way to engage students in the study of difficult histories. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum is America’s national institution for the documentation, study, and interpretation of Holocaust history. As educators, this Museum’s collections is an extremely valuable resource, but can also sometimes be overwhelming. In this session, educators will learn how to navigate and access primary sources on the USHMM website as well as discuss methods and frameworks on how to effectively utilize them.
