OJMCHE’s oral history collection forms an essential part of our work to document and interpret the Oregon Jewish experience. The 800+ interviews in the collection reveal stories about immigration, assimilation, war, work, play, school, marriage, parenthood and so much more. Join us for a conversation with OJMCHE Archivist Alisha Babbstein; Curator of Collections, Anne LeVant Prahl; and Director Judy Margles as they share their favorite oral history clips and tell stories about the community that created them.
Clip audio: Louis Albert, 1973.
