We hope you’ll join us for this special tour where you’ll learn about the city’s first urban renewal project and how it irreparably changed the physical, social, and cultural landscape of the neighborhood south of the Keller Auditorium. Along the way, you’ll also get a chance to explore the Portland Open Space Sequence, a series of fountains designed by Lawrence Halprin and Associates between 1965 and 1970 that are now listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
This tour is co-sponsored by the Architectural Heritage Center, Halprin Landscape Conservancy, and Oregon Jewish Museum and Center for Holocaust Education.
Space is limited. Pre-Registration is required.
